Lottie Bynog Collier
Lottie, lived her childhood years in a small town, of Provencal, LA. Her father worked in the woods, in the timber business, and is also, a preacher. Of course, Lottie's passion is her music. Her mother, of Irish descent, sparked her inspiration and natural talent, as well as her love of Gospel music -- both Bluegrass and Southern. She grew up in church where she sang and harmonized with her sister, together, they were called the, "Bynog Sisters". Her mother plays the guitar, mainly playing the Old-Time Bluegrass Gospel. She insisted that Lottie learn to play guitar and sing from the heart: "If you can't feel it, don't sing it. Do it for God". Indeed Lottie not only loved singing, but her real passion is writing songs - some 800 which have already been written.
Lottie is a mother of two children, a boy and a girl. She and her husband, Kevin Collier an evangelist live in a small town called Atlanta, LA. In essence, she lives to write music -- a member and publisher with (BMI), and has two songs, "The Hem of Him", and "Peculiar People" released by the "Telestials". Another published, and produced by: Cupit Music, in Nashville, TN. The song entitled, "There's A Healer In This House" has been recorded by Michelle Cupit. Lottie, has a great testimony for EVERY song that God has given her. It is her hope that music will bring glory to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that others may be touched as well.
Lottie's latest Bluegrass-Country gospel cd entitled, "I Found My Rose" was recorded at Crosscreek Recording Studio in Aimwell, LA., with all original songs. She has songs of hope, faith, light, love, and the old country church feeling of praise. We feel sure you will be blessed as you listen!!!
